On Sunday I snapped this photo of a Great Blue Heron in a local park. I was only six or eight feet away and she stood there, calm as could be. Turns out she has been mugging for tourists all summer, and who can blame her? She (or he) is very photogenic!Yesterday I finished the line edits for my January 2011 release, The Wedding Bargain, and sent those to my editor. It's good to have that off my plate so I can focus on next week's release of Firefighter Daddy.

Hi, Marin! Technically the July American Romances shouldn't be on the shelves until next Tuesday - that's the "official" release date. Some stores put them out early, though, so eagle-eye shoppers might find them sooner.

Lee...just wanted to let you know that I have read "Firefighter Daddy" and really loved it. I have a subscription to the American line through eHarlquin so I read it back at the end of May. Wish I didn't live all the way across the US on the Texas Gulf coast because I would love to meet you and thank you in person for writing such wonderful books.
