Tuesday News

Things I’m doing this week, in no particular order:

  • meeting with my critique group
  • revising Firefighter Daddy
  • attending a Christmas craft fair
  • clearing out my office
The work on my office continues. So far this week I have cleared out:

  • 10 stacking trays
  • 17 cardboard magazine files
  • 1 large box of books
  • a blue box full of paper to be recycled
Since eliminating stuff and clutter is my goal, I also have to eliminate the things I would use to store the stuff and clutter. So the trays and magazine files will find new homes and the books will go a secondhand bookstore.

I’m making progress!

Until next time,
Lee

Go Lee!

I am battling with my girls about eliminating some of the clutter in their closets. It's spilling out into their rooms. Not fun.

Gillian, I wish I could offer some hope. We have two adult children who no longer live here but still have boxes of stuff stored in our basement.

As your for current situation, is there a way to appeal to your daughters' sense of community? Maybe some things could be donated to charities that provide good-quality used clothing, toys, books, etc., to those less fortunate . . . with the added advantage of making more space for some of your daughters' soon-to-be-received holiday gifts :)

I can't wait to see the 'new office'.

What a tremendous amount of work you've done!

Thanks for the support and encouragement, Jodie. It's even more work than I anticpated but now that I'm making progress, I'm inspired to keep going,
