Thanks for the Mother's Day greeting, Lee. My grandson phoned from London, England. I've talked to all my family to-day. I had a Mother's Day dinner yesterday with friends and it was lovely. No pretty cakes. Helen made a rhubarb pie and a raspberry pie. Delicious.
I'm reading the book you gave me yesterday. Thanks. The beginning is intriguing.
I love to write, love to read, love to watch TV shows and films that make me laugh and cry and sigh, and I believe it's the little things in life that make everything worthwhile.

Lee--what beautiful cakes! I loved the pictures--too pretty to eat or cut into though.
I'm getting a new kitchen countertop for Mother's Day!

Some of those cakes are...interesting to say the least! We had a cheesecake with fresh fruit on top. Yum!

Marin, did you check all the links? Some of the cakes are stunning. But some of them...not so much!
Anita, I'm so happy to hear about your Mother's Day, complete with two of my favorite pies!
Hi, Sheryll!
My family helped me celebrate Mother's Day with angel food cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Delicious!
