Today is family day at my house and everyone is nibbling on chocolate. My kids are coming home for roast chicken dinner, complete with all the trimmings. But before that they’ll be helping their dad sweep off the patio and set up the patio furniture. Yes, spring is finally here!Whatever your day brings, I hope your holiday is filled with peace and relaxation.

There's no chicken in my future, but a nice bowl of homemade potato soup, I think.
I was out walking on our local multi-use trail this morning and was so pleased to see a) it didn't rain, and b) all kinds of family groups were out together, strolling or biking.
It's wonderful to take advantage of these special occasions to get the generations together, enjoying each other's company.
I think I'll go phone my dad.
